Academic projects

2010-Reasearch on Audio-Fingerprinting in the context of the Quaero project.
The aim is to create algorithms that can identify uknown audio excerpts within a database containing a very large amount of reference audio signals.
2007-Project on the tracking of a monophonic performance of a given score.
The resulting algorithm can follow a score while a single instrument plays it and indicates when the instrument plays out of tune.
2006-Project on image denoising with edge detection.
The goal is to develop image denoising methods that avoid the blurring effect that traditionally goes with. To this end, we use an edge detector and then filter the image adaptively.
2005-Project on image denoising.
In this project, we use a linear prediction approach to generate a denoising filter for a given set of images.
